This song relates to the Novel of Hamlet because it describes how Hamlet felt when his father died. 

This song shows how a person feels when someone died or is out of their life's. In this case is Hamlet the one that is missing his father : King Hamlet. This song have a relation with the scene 1 of Hamlet´s novel. Because in the scene 1 King Hamlet is assassinated and Hamlet don´t know what to do now. We can see from Hamlet that he is a man devoted to his family. And his fathers death influenced his life. Hamlet is confused because he was loyal towards his family. He don't know wether killing his uncle ( the one that killed king hamlet ) or don't do anything. 

Hamlet is really missing his father. Because he was Hamlet's main company.
